School Board

Project SEARCH is successful because of the partnership between the school board, the host business site, employment service provider and parents/caregivers. Each have an important role to play to ensure the success of each Intern.

The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board:

Provides  staff and Interns  
Teaches employability skills
Develops internship tasks 
Creates accommodations
Evaluates program progress and problem solves solutions 
Identifies job skills and work on employment acquisition with Interns, families/guardians and community partners 
Tracks ongoing employment data
